Since 2005, RWR has pioneered obscure genres, developed a style of culture-jamming, and created mysterious atmospheres using unconventional ideas, instruments and recording methods. Rural War Room creates the soundtrack.

Starfield (2020 SCM/STS) is a surreal space-jam adventure featuring special guest Cory Starfield of Kansas City, MO. One hour, one take, in spacetime, fusing four dimensions into a single, four-dimensional fabricated auditory stimulus manifold. Included are 7 tracks that explore the seven regions of the human brain connected to paracusia, plasma waves, and auditory-related emotional responses. Subjects and sounds include Martian Winds, Van Allen Probes, Saturn Auroras, Jupiter Sonification, the rare Stardust Comet, and the mysterious of NASA's Viking 2.
