Saw Donavan today and he was much improved from last week's visit. He's a bit more conscious but not to the point of communicating. His eyes are open occasionally and he seems to know people are there. He's breathing through a tube in his trachea and has another tube going into his chest. Still moving around a lot as if trying to get out of bed. He is loosely harnessed to keep him from ripping out the tubes. He is still not up for visitors, but this all seems to bode well for our friend.
