Not Necessarily Beautiful But Mutated, is an album series of DEVO cover songs, and songs inspired by the group. NNBBM sold in (almost) annually, in support of the annual International DEVO-tional gathering held (always) annually in Akron & Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Each 80-minute, various artist cd album was available at the DEVO-tional, and online for a brief time. Rural War Room's Byron Werner and Donavan Suitt produced, recruited-for, and performed on this project from 2009 to now. Back in 2000, the DEVO Fan Club, associated producers, and musicians began to compile and release albums of DEVO cover songs recorded by recording-artist-friends of the band, fans, and outsiders. Most of the artists featured on NNBBM DEVO cover-albums also performed at the 2 day DEVO-tional fest! 2 stages of amazing, devolved punk & wave.
